  Tips for tendering

Business opportunities, including tenders, are generally advertised on Shared Services Procurement website and in mainstream newspapers.  Keep an eye out for work you may be interested in.

Amendments (addenda) to business opportunities and tenders are generally uploaded onto the Procurement website or; in some cases, directly from the Project Officer or superintendant.  Addenda must be completed and submitted with your tender (or procurement) response/submission.

Questions relating to a particular business opportunity or tender process should be directed to the nominated Project Officer/Manager.

Business opportunities/tenders must be lodged directly into the Shared Services Procurement tender box, unless otherwise stipulated within the tender documentation.

Shared Services Procurement uses the "Talking Clock" on telephone number 1194 to verify the correct time for closing of the Tender Box.  The time on 1194 is derived from a dedicated time server operated by a private company, with reference to UTC (AUS) as maintained by the National Measurement Institute.
