The ACT Government advertises open tenders on the etendering system Tenders ACT. Tenders ACT offers a central point to find publicly available business opportunities advertised by the Territory, automatic notification of business opportunities to registered users, and secure electronic lodgement of responses.
Businesses and individuals interested in supplying to the ACT Government are encouraged to register for a free Tenders ACT account which allows users to set up automatic notifications of supply opportunities in nominated categories.
Future tender opportunities
Forecasted goods and services business opportunities are published on the future tenders page on Tenders ACT. This page includes a list of upcoming tender opportunities with the status “Advance Tender Notice”.

Schemes and multi use lists
The ACT Government has a number of schemes and multi use lists which suppliers are able to apply to join at any time. For more information see the Whole of Government arrangements page.
Digital Marketplace Pilot
The ACT Government is running a pilot to improve the way we source digital products and services. Our goal is to move to a dynamic approach to accommodate industry and technology developments.
To do this, we’re using the Digital Transformation Agency’s hardware, software, digital, and cloud marketplaces for some purchases.
The pilot will run throughout 2020. It will show us how marketplaces work and the role they could play in the future of digital sourcing for the ACT Government. Our existing procurement legislation, policies and principles will apply.
